A simple, single decision: select the Contrast Level for your home theater screen. Evaluate your screen material contrast selection based on your personal preference, movie projector performance and your projection room. More advanced home theater projectors offer a significant level of contrast control and less contrast enhancement will be required from the home theater screen. If your home theatre will have high levels of ambient light from windows or room lights you may desire higher levels of projection screen contrast.
Hint: Our most popular contrast level is medium and is most appropriate for the typical home theater environment. No extra charge for projector screen material contrast enhancement.

You do not have to decide on screen gain, as you will have control of this at the time you install your movie screen. The same is true of size and format. Each screen kit has enough solution to build a movie screen of at least 150” diagonal and in any format.
